About 4 Wheelers 4 Vets

In 2016, the off-road community learned that some Veterans wanted to experience the "wheeling" world from a civilian perspective, and that some needed an affordable, enjoyable weekend away with people who understood them.

In short order, plans were made to head up to Minden for a weekend of camaraderie. The two groups hit it off right away. It didn't hurt that some Veterans were also Wheelers who helped bridge the divide, and neither group is afraid to get out in the woods or push the envelope. Vets who'd worked with vehicles in the field had no trouble hooking up a winch and picking the right lines; Wheelers welcomed anyone who shared their enthusiasm.

In 2019, we became an incorporated non-profit, 4 Wheelers 4 Vets Inc., overseen by a committed membership of Wheelers and Veterans. We bring the skills of both groups together to support Veterans in need of emergency funds throughout the year, and to run our annual fundraising wheeling event: the weekend that started it all. We also collaborate with other Veterans' support groups to meet a Vet's need whenever it arises.

We actively engage with communities to raise awareness about Veteran issues and advocate for their well-being. Join us in making a difference.
